I recently made a purchase in a drug store, that cost a total of $3.25. I gave the girl at the chechout $5.25. She ran off looking for her pocket calculator. I was astounded.
Don't expect those who grew up only with modern technology to be able to find practical solutions when the power goes out. Only older people can do that and we are all retiring.

I agree with you Brent. I would change one thing though, "Only older people can do that" I would say it is more only older people WILL do that. It seems that we have allowed to evolve, a generation of people who are too lazy to try to figure it out. If they push the button, and it doesn't work, it is someone else's problem.
