You are not being very clear. As Shrew states, STCW
training and
certification is for professional mariners holding
commercial certificates of competency. STCW II/3 is an endorsement as Master or OICNW (Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch) on vessels less than 500GT. To get this endorsement, you need to demonstrate the required sea
service, training, and assessments. So training alone isn’t going to get you STCW II/3. But the list of required training is more than you stated. In addition to Basic Training, you also need PSC,
Medical provider, ECDIS (if equipped),
Radar Observer (if
Radar equipped), ARPA, and advanced firefighting.
Are these the same courses the training sites listed?
