STCW 95 BST training in the caribbean

Hey, someone knows where in Venezuela/Caribbean i can do the Basic Safety Training to work on commercial charter-boats? I know you can do it in St. Maarten, but there it costs like 1200 Dollars. Someone told me in Trinidad & Tobago its possible for like 300 Dollars, but i don´t know about that...
