Starting sailing

Hello,

My wife and i would like to try sailing to see if we like it and to learn a few things. We live in Montreal . We are not old ( Me 30 and my wife 26) and we know how to swim and we are not afraid of work. In the next 3-4 years, we want to buy a boat and sail around the world. For that reason, we would be happy to see every aspect of living on boat !

We will have two weeks off from 29 July to 5 august and would like to find someone with who we could try it.

Also if anyone live near Montreal who would like a company on a weekend to sail, we would be happy to bring beer and help out with something !

Thanks !

Re: Starting sailing

I’d do a day sail, then a weekend. Or just a weekend first. If you plan two weeks and one of the two of you hates it that will be a miserable trip

Haha, that dang necro post. He posted that on several threads. I just assumed they were all recent ones.

Glad things are going well for you!
