Sailing schools in Miami?

My Mom has a small condo in Miami and winters there. My hubby and I thought it would be fun to go down there in January/February and take some sailing classes. Can anyone recommend a school in the Miami area? I think there is an ASA school at Dinner Key, but I haven't been in Miami for a number of years and have forgotten.

Coconut Grove Sailing Club has an outstanding US Sailing program. It is less commercial than ASA courses but as good or better. They train all the way through bare boat charter.

They also have very low priced rental boats available to all certified members including social members. Many people who train there get crewing opportunities on bigger boats.

A total of 25 members have crewed and sailed on our 55 ft boat including a Caribbean to Bermuda to Halifax trip and two Miami to St Thomas trips. Next year the trips are legs from Panama to New Zealand.
