Maybe someone here has done a RYA Fast Track course in Hout Bay /
Cape Town with 2 Oceans Maritime Academy and could share their
experience.
The last 10 years I owned & sailed a 26 foot sailboat at Lake Constance / Austria. With the next & bigger
boat I plan to sail the oceans.. But first I want to gain a solid base of knowledge & some
Offshore experience.
Currently I am comparing different RYA Fast Track (Offshore & Ocean) in
Gibraltar &
South Africa. The one mentioned seems pretty interesting, 5 month with 7k miles inkl. a 2 month
passage Cape Town -> St Helena -> Rio -> Tristan Da Cunha -> Cape Town.
Maybe someone here has done their Odyssey program, or knows someone who has.
Also, how is Cape Town / Hout Bay right now?
