Licence Req for Croatia

Hi All,
Just joined tonight.
I'm up against it as just completed RYA level 2 Power boat Licence (ICC), arranged boat hire in Split Marina, booked flights for Saturday 11th Oct to be then asked for my VHF radio licence. According to my RYA trainer he wasn't aware of any requirement in Croatia for this licence. I've checked on the internet and it would appear this is a requirement. So I'm desperately trying to find someone to give me the exam after I've done the online training course in the hope of getting a licence from the RYA or at least signed paperwork stating it's been applied for and I have passed the course. If they will accept it!!!
Does anyone know please what the true situation is so I can either relax or panic? Thanks Mark
