ASA course

Hi all, Im.from Colorado so not much in the way of sailing experience. I am looking at taking ASA courses with Barefoot Offshore in St. Vincent, specifically the Catamaran course. Has anyone ever sailed with them or taken any courses?

Re: ASA course

There are a lot of options out there. Be sure that you do your research and look for independent reviews. Take a look at Trip Advisor.

I run a school just to the south of St. Vincent, in Grenada.

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about learning to sail - especially in this part of the world.

Beam winds,

Chris

You could knock out the ASA 101 right in Denver...

Re: ASA course

Getting your 101 before you come down for the live aboard course is a great idea. You will pick up the basic concepts much more quickly on a small monohull than on a big catamaran. This will really help you get more from your catamaran course.

Re: ASA course

Thanks for the advice, I originally planned on doing 101 here but I own a food truck so of course my busy season is also our sailing season. The good part is I finally own a business where I will have 5 months a year to hone my sailing, surfing and scuba skills!
