Thanks for all interesting sugestions. I am thinking of complete reconditioning a San Remo, repaint, recondition interion, etc. How much will this kind of work could cost? Have not bought it yet, but have an offer on the table.

Hey everyone, Marry Christmas! Bought this 1988 Wellcraft San Remo last weekend and planing to do complete refit - including complete Bottom-to-Top paint job, inside refit, etc. Looking for ~6 month project before sailing! Thanks everyone for helping.

Hi, hope everything is going well,,,just wanted to ask you how it is going with the San Remo 43..did you refitted.

I am thinking on buying a 1989 ...are they good boats, how do they handle the water...the one I want to buy has Cats 3208.

Please let me know about yours, and if you recommend this boat?
