USA boats cruising Europe

Hi, We are Robert and Graciela on a 2019 Ranger Tug 31S. We have finished the Great Loop and the Down East Loop in the USA and are planning on shipping our boat, Sweet Love, to Europe in May or June of 2023. We would like to make contact with other USA boats cruising in the EU

Apologies for being neither from the US nor in Europe yet, but we are looking to ship our boat to the EU in a couple of years (currently based in the Gulf Islands/BC and will ship to the East Coast, probably do a bit of the ICW and ship from there). We have a lifeboat conversion so it's not comparable to much but a Ranger 31 is in the ballpark, size wise. Are you planning to ship it RORO or on the 'boat boat'?



Are you headed to the canals? We've done a couple of charters over there to make sure we actually wanted to live on the canals for an extended period and, luckily, absolutely loved it. You'll have a great time wherever you end up over there!

Having completed the Great Loop and the Down East Loop, Sweet Love gets loaded on a freighter in the Baltimore Harbor for her ride to Amsterdam to begin our European tour.

Dani,
We are using Seven Star yacht Transport.
Plan on cruising the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Ireland this year. The Scandinavian countries next year.
And the Rhine, Main and Danube the following year.
Then thru the Med.
Hope to be over there for 5-7 years. Off and on due to 90/180 day restrictions and 18 month restrictions.
Hopefully, we shall see you there.
