Hmmm, that’s a bugger of a trip in one shot but here are a few talking points.
Fuel
Immigration and
customs
Reliable and blemish free crew
Reliable machinery
Adequate
drinking water
Fuel… again.
Route to be determined.
What type of 72’
motor cruiser are you delivering, if it has over a thousand hp pushing it you probably need an
engineer to keep it alive and well, there will be several services needed even if you cut down on seatime by running on the plane. I know I mentioned it before but all aspects of
fuel are going to be a challenge, cleanliness and availability are the basics but actual product quality is a bit of an unknown, pertamina and
Solar are sketchy and you’re going to need tons (literally) and a lot of careful planning. If this
boat has detroit diesels take spare injectors and lots of filters if you lack a purifier. The hardest part might well be the
east coast of OZ.
Singapore and Bali/lombok (Gili Gede) are reliable for fuel, Timor maybe, PNG not so much.
Oh , nearly forgot to mention the
import duty on non Australian registered/flagged vessels.
