Suunfjord Boats?
I am looking at a Suunfjord 42. It's an American built boat with a Single large diesel. It looks like it was just refit. For a 42, it appears to be smaller in side than some of the boats out there. I noticed that it's a little more tender when I was walking the decks. Below are some pictures of the undersides. In comparison to a Californian boats, the Suunfjord has a sharper bow, deeper keel and slightly more V shaped bottom. The Californian has a flat bottom by comparison. I would imagine that this boat would be better at crashing through the slop off the Oregon coast as compared to the Californian.
Any one have experience with the early 80s Suunfjords? Thanks in advance:
