Shannon Brendan 32 Sedan

I'm about to purchase a 1987 model w/twin 210hp Cummins engines (1200 hours). Built in RI, they're supposed use composite cores (a big plus). Our current wooden boat is a typical downeast 32' (semi displacement built down keel), built by Hugo Lehtinen (Tenants Harbor, Me). I'm not sure what to expect from the Shannon's modified V-hull. Heard they're a good ride out on the water. But how about low speed handling? Anyone have any experience with these or similar hulled boat? Thanks!
