R there ferries available Exumas to North Eleuretha

Does anyone know the distance between these to islands?
Need to catch a flight at 2:00pm and trying to plan if I should plan on heading back to North Eleuretha the day before my flight or if this is manageable via ferry early in the am. Please advise if you have experience...:-)

I think there is a daily supply boat from Nassau to Eleuretha, otherwise, I remember only private boats or air commercial or private air being the only way onto or off of the Island.

Daily is kinda a broad term. I wouldn't wait until the last second, (day) to get on the same island as my flight. Just sayin.

Do not rely on the ferries or inter-island "mailboats" as they used to be called. There is no guarantee that that the boat will arrive or sail as scheduled. The boats are a vital part of the Bahamian economy but lately due to fuel costs and government imposed rates they are sailing less frequently than before.

We were in Staniel Cay this season and stayed an extra day waiting for the mailboat to come in with fresh stores. The boat skipped the trip that week so we waited for nothing. So we moved down to Black Point as their boat was due in a couple of days. We waited and it did not arrive. For two days it was "coming tomorrow" as it was in Nassau waiting for spare parts. The boat did not come that week at all.

This is the way it is. Everybody lives with it. If you are stuck on an island and have to get out your only way out is to charter a plane.
