Powered Catamaran Asvice

Has anybody regretted buying a 9-11m powered catamaran?
What traps are there to look out for when selecting?
Alloy or fibreglass?
Inboard or outboard powered?
Just dreaming of what to buy next...
Thanks

I can not provide any advice on a 9 to 11 meter catamaran. My current sailing catamaran is 18 meters. My catamaran is an incredible boat, love her to pieces. She is easy to move. Sometimes it is hard to find marina slips, because she's a it wide.

As for alloy (metal/aluminum) vs fiberglass is one probably a preference. Personally, if I was cruising in waters with logs and debris in the water, I'd prefer a allow hull -- rather would like dents than cracks.

Inboard vs outboard. I know nothing about outboards. Our Volvo Penta D3-110 engines (inboard) have been amazing. Reliable. Easy to maintain. Quiet. Enough power. 1.5 gallons/hour per engine cruising at 6-7 knots.

Good luck
