Power Photos

Share photos of your power boat here, or photos of interesting power boats you've seen in your travels.

I'll get the ball rolling with one of our 30' Sundowner Tug tied to the breakwater logs with some other penny pinching frugal boaters in Shearwater, central coast BC, Canada.

The other two are from my favourite anchoring spot (so far) at Brim River, Gardner Canal, north coast BC:

Re: Power Photos

Turns out I have tons of pictures taken from our boat, but very few of the boat itself that aren't haulout / launch pictures.

Here's a couple of us on "Hour Glass" (1986 Chris Craft 381 Catalina) approaching and departing lock O2 heading northbound on the Oswego Canal this fall.

Re: Power Photos

Some friends had a pilgrim trawler which was really nice.

Pilgrim Trawler Yachts - PILGRIM Trawlers

I've always liked the old single engine mainship trawlers (1970-80's)

If we come across an otherwise good condition sail cat with a damaged rig, I would seriously consider it. Your average cat motors well, has shallow draft and provides a nice living platform..

Re-upload of the photos from my earlier post, as some couldn't see them.

Here is Ansedonia. We just took her back to La Paz, MX, after being gone for a year due to covid. So happy to be back in warm water!

Cheers, Bill

The Albin 25 comparison is a new one to me! I usually think of it as a chubby trunk cabin version of the typical 60s Chris Craft (and others) designs with a single upper helm placed aft (similar to where it would be with an aft pilothouse, but open in my case).
