Perkins 4.108 water heater

Hi, I have been trying to find answers and reading up where I can but so far unable to track down exactly what to do. We currently have no hot water on board. We have 2 Perkins 4.108 engines but both are raw water cooled so no header tanks. We really want to run a calorifier off of one of the engines but cant find information as to how to do this.
Our previous boat had a 4.107 which had a header tank and the calorifier ran from that. We were looking to do the same with this. Does anyone have an idea as to how to go about this please?

Look at “Converting From Raw Water to Fresh Water Cooling” on this forum.

You need the hottest water. Usually where the water exits the exhaust manifold. Send that water to the tank and return it to where the the exhaust water you robbed would have gone.
Put in valves in case of leaks.

My 4-108 has hot water outlet and return on either side of thermostat housing.

Agreed, even a Diesel fired Hydronic system.
The cost would be tolerable if it heats the interior and supplies hot water to the water heater loop.
Other than that, On Demand propane heated hot water is clean and efficient

So, your going to tell me this happened because of a On Demand Water heater?
Or, some other totally avoidable mistake using propane.
Got any better proof than your word?
