Hello All,
Iam about to skipper a Nor Tech 52 center console with 2 Yanmar inboard diesel engines 480 hp .
It s my first experience.
What kind of seas , what kind of swell is this type of boat able to sail ?
Thanks for some info
I would say it depends very much on the skills of the captain and how much rough riding the captain and the crew can stand. Know nothing about the boat but from the looks it would take one meter waves like nothing. Two meter waves would be a bit rough and require one to slow down and manage the boat carefully.
Much more than two meters would require a careful, skillful captain to manage safely.

If I looked up the right boat that is a high performance center console. But I did not see twin diesel engines but big outboards pushing the boat fast.
It looks like the boat can take more that the passangers. I was on a 39' high performance center console and it was smooth in 2' waves.
