I would change my description from cabin cruiser to trawler. Older trawlers can be found at pretty low prices. Of course this reflects condition & age. Typical power is a Ford Lehman or Perkins, both good reliable motors. I would avoid cabin cruiser with gas engines. Typically lower quality less sea worthy boats & way too expensive to run. Marine Trader, Mainship & Gulfstar are a few that would work & can be found a pretty reasonable prices. The main thing to check out is the engine. At this price point they will all need work but you want to avoid having to rebuild the motor. Here's some interesting boats I found in just a few minutes on Craigslist. Remember, the asking price is not the selling price!
