NEED HELP

Greetings......I have mounted a new Yamaha F25 (135lb) on a Maxxon 12' inflatable rescue type boat. The problem is, the boat is not going anywhere unless you're going snail speed. As soon as you give it a little more power, there's huge cavitation to a point that the boat STOPS. Dealer said to raise the motor. The CAV plate is level with keel and NOTHING changed. The boat is new but old stock and I made 3/4 plywood floor decking for her thinking it would help. It did but very insignificant. Would change the prop/pitch help?? Motor came with a 9 7/8 X 11 1/4 prop from factory. Even weighing down the bow and shifting things around, still is a no-go.

I’d check to see if you spun then prop.

We checked for spun prop at the dealer and that was all good. What do you think about a Solas Amita 9.9X12 prop?
