Maxum 2400 scr - plastic fuel tank pic or diagram

Hi

I have a 2004 2400 Maxum SCR with a plastic gas tank.

Maxum specs say the tank is 70 gallons (around 260 litres) .

I can't work out if the tank is flat bottom or has a V it it given the way it was moulded into the hull.

I'm trying to see if I have any water at the bottom of the tank.

I've sucked up a few gallons and found none but it might be in a V spot that I can't get to (hence the diagram)

as an aside, I also have a 180 Searay bow rider which also has a plastic tank (21 gallons / 80 lires) - despite having drained the tank a year ago (and pulled a lot of later out), we stopped on the water last week due to water and again had to drained a out of water out of the bottom.

Both are on trailers out of the water and no obvious water entry points (albeit not under cover)

Any thoughts on why the water in the Searay but not the Maxum (yet) ?

Toss in a bunch of Startron or Seafoam in the tank and forget about it. If the pickup tube isn't picking it up, the Startron or Seafoam will be able to get rid of it.

I'd use one or the other every fill-up and you shouldn't need to worry about water from condensation in the tank again.

Thanks

Given the Searay is 21 gallons and I pulled out a gallon of water, not sure adding anything will help but noted. I cant believe the volume in just one year and can't see / explain any rain water entry.

My water seperator worked until it filled up with water (probably after I hit a wave and the pickup sucked water)

regards
