Hey everyone

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Look forward to this forum as I retire this year and preparing the Alaskan Sea-Duction (ASD) for her first trip to the inside passage.

Re: Hey everyone

If you don't have one get a Nexus card for you and any passengers. Greatly speeds customs both ways. Nanaimo is faster than Vancouver or Victoria. With Nexus you can call and maybe avoid docking.
I first made the inland passage trip on a destroyer, then commercial fishing and now I'm retired about 9 years. I can't get enough of the scenery and the quiet. I winter on the Columbia. If I knew retirement was going to be so good I would have worked faster and retired earlier.
