exhaust hose leak in transom thruhull at waterline

We have a Bluewater 51 Coastal cruiser with a great deal of diesel engine thrust pressure on a stiff exhaust hose that we cannot clamp down adequately. (Of course there is little space at the site where the leak is at the transom at the joint of rigid F/G, and the great thrust is hard on it). What I want to know is if there is a HD marine grade exhaust hose clamp for a 6" exhaust hose.We cannot draw it down qith screw clamps (and then too this just might be transferring the problem to somewhere else). We are in the Bahamas, and may gave to resort to innertube until we can get her hauled). We welcome any ideas from anyone who has had experience with this. A big thankyou to fellow members!

Bless you, that bolted hose clamp looks li looks like it may be just the ticket, and we found a hardware store here in a Bahs remote Lah-lah-Land that said they carry them.

Bless you Sam! That big bolt clamp you suggested looks like it might well solve our immediate exhaust leak problem, AND we located a little hardware store here in remote Lah-Lah-Land that said they have one!

Some sealant/lubricant is helpful in fitting up stiff exhaust hoses, and heat helps too.
I use Rector Seal, which is primarily a thread sealant, but works well for a myriad of uses. It’s available at plumbing suppliers, and at Lowes.
Those bolt clamps are capable of exerting tremendous force, so be careful not to crush the fitting!

The specs on one of the items linked say stainless band, zinc plated screw. Absent mention of grade of stainless too. Is that ideal for marine installation? (Asking, not knowing )

If there is enough length on the exhaust pipe it is best to use two T clamps. They should be positioned approximately 180 degrees apart - the screws on the opposite sides of the hose.

It may be easier to tighten the clamps a bit more after the engine is hot.
