Engine monitoring

Hi,
I have a little flybridge cruiser powered by a Yanmar 4jh5e & recently got a scare when the engine overheated because I couldn't hear the alarm at first, luckily I was only going slow. the gauge showed 104 C°.
My question to which I hope I can find an answer here is;
Does anyone know if a temperature gauge & an rpm gauge only can be hooked up to the B26 panel for monitoring on the flybridge ? All the Yanmar options are to buy the complete dash panel (big $$$).
I think just these two gauges would be more than sufficient for monitoring the engine from the flybridge.
I would be very grateful for any info or links regarding such a configuration.
