I was familiar with the 26' version, we had several of them on my ship during Vietnam. Good sea boats, as you'd expect from the hull form. They'll carry a decent load and are as seaworthy as you'd expect an open boat to be. Very solid construction, very strong. Designed to take a beating in service that included dropping them from falls into rough seas, banging into mooring bouys when shackling up to them, etc.
