Boat: Symbol, Trawler, 42ft.

Davits for a Symbol 42 Trawler.
I recently purchased a Symbol 42' Trawler. I would like to put davits on the stern but there is a spiral ladder descending down to the swim platform. If anybody out has a similar boat or the same boat with the same problem, I would like some advice on how they overcame the problem. Pics would be nice if availble. Thanks a lot,
