Crossing Lake Okeechobee

We will be crossing the lake on Feb 23, 2010. Anyone crossed within the last 30 days or so? Interested in the soundings across the lake, especially
going in to Clewiston. Any problems with any of the locks?
The boat is a 78' Marlow Explorer,5' 6" draft

How was your crossing on Feb.23? Was the water depth adequate?

I crossed on March 20 and depths didn't get below 8'. The lowest parts are in the channel coming into Clewiston.
