Californian Convertible 35 Prop Size ?

Trying to find out the prop size that was standard issue on a 1985 Californian 35 Convertible with the 3208NA 210HP cats in it. Boat was made by Wellcraft 1985-1987. I have a contract on one and will sea trial and survey next week. The broker's ad, powerboat guide, boatdiesel.com calculator, and my prop shop says it should wot at 20 knots and cruise at 16-17 knots. Owner, of ten years, says he has never seen those numbers. At haul out for survey will try to get prop size but have no reference to what was standard so won't know if overpropped or just not enough engine. Bottom was just cleaned. Maybe boat has got real heavy. Factory weight 18,000 lbs, i worked it at 22,000lb and the calculator said it should run 17 and wot 20. Modified Vhull with 15 degree deadrise. Boat has trim tabs. I know they didn't make many but some of you out there must have one or know of one. Help. Thanks

Re: Californian Convertible 35 Prop size etc.???

To close this thread, sea trialed the boat today. Props are 21x20. 3208NA turned 2700 to 2800 at WOT but the boat never got to its listed cruise or WOT. In the sling at haul out for survey boat weighed in at 28,000 versus the light, out the door, powerboat guide listed wt. of 18000 lbs. 5 people on board, no gear, 1/4 fuel and still not performing. Just not enough "Cats" under the deck for that type of boat to be really a functional boat. Pass, now looking at a 1975 Chris Craft 36 footer. Thanks for your help. FP
