Hi, trying to replace two roller wheels for my bow roller. No idea who made it. the rollers are:

#1- Diameter 3.6 inch, width 2.8 inches center hole is ¾ inch
#2- Diameter 4.6 inch , width 2.8 inches center hole is ¾ inch

Any suggestions or referrals appreciated

Re: Bow Roller Wheel Replacement help

I used polyurethane boat trailer rollers to replace the ones on my Eagle 40. 45# Bruce with all chain rode. They have held up for over 2 years at 25% of the cost. Diameter not as important as width and the width can be modified with angle grinder.

Any machine shop can make rollers to your specification out of a variety of plastics. Polyurethane is sufficient.

Re: Bow Roller Wheel Replacement help

Second on SteelyDon's trailer wheels. I used them when I fabricated bow rollers for two 45 pound anchors, and again as chain guides from the bow to the windlass. No problems.

Re: Bow Roller Wheel Replacement help

You can try these folks. I found them when searching for replacement rollers. I ended up turning my own on a lathe (wood lathe) out of UHMW cylindrical stock.

Re: Bow Roller Wheel Replacement help

Made my own while I had access to a machine shop. I used 10” diameter Nylatron. The larger the diameter, the easier it is to pull the shank over it.
