Bedding

Just purchased a 2008 SeaRay 44 Sundancer and would like to replace the bedding. Any recommendations on where to purchase comforter and sheets?

Re: Bedding

We just use flat normal queen size sheets, not fitted, and tuck in appropriately. It is not difficult to trim a flat sheet if need be.

Welcome to the forum.

Re: Bedding

It is also pretty easy to take a sheet that's a bit too large and sew the corners to fit your boat's mattress. Have done that on a couple of boats and it works well.

But have also just tucked in the sheets and that worked fine as well.

Re: Bedding

Our mattress is being made by Portland mattress located in New England. We are getting a 6” latex with a hinge in the middle top to bottom that will give us great access to storage below bed. Costs I think about 1,200 with shipping. They also have a Taylor that will customers make fitted sheets. Can’t remember price but thing they are a couple hundred per set. Think wife gets just the bottom then uses a regular queen for top.

The Sea Ray owners club members (on line somewhere) could likely tell you who the OEM soft good suppliers were, or Sea Ray themselves could probably answer that same question... and whoever that was would likely have patterns. Sometimes that means you buy sheets you like, send to them for modification, they send 'em back.

Or you could send a mattress pattern to a mattress/bedding maker, and they can do it for you. Often ditto you buy sheets and send, etc.

Or you could do the mods yourself.... or have it done locally.

Or flat sheets work pretty well.
