1987 Carver 36' Aft Cabin

Does anyone have any experience or insight on these? Me and my wife are looking for a live aboard and I came across a few of these on the internet that all seemed to be very reasonably priced and it really got me wondering if there was a reason why the prices are all so low lol

Well, probably powered with gas engines, which lowers the price over a diesel. The older Carvers are not known for their high quality - somewhere between Bayliner and Searay, closer to Bayliner

But, they are not to be avoided all together, it just depends on what you expect to do with it.

Again, if it's twin gas engines, think of the future of gas prices as a reason for the purchase price discount. You will be paying for it in the end.
