Your not
buying a Boat.
We move to
Thailand I followed my wife a couple of months after she left I had things to finish. I said I found an awesome
blue water sailboat and I can sail over and we can live on it. we can travel and see different places it will be great. That IS when I got the
advice. (to her defense she was pregnant at the time)
So we find a house to rent we like (IIIIIIIIIIIII like the boat idea better) we get new beds and furniture and the rest since we didn't ship anything with our move. We are in the house two weeks and we get a flood warning for our city. EVERYONEsays it never floods here we are on high ground, one week to go until flood day. nope never floods here, sure babe we can get our stuff out and move back in later. nooooo we will be fine!
I had major eye surgery one week before we moved in, it was 5 hours long so I am suppose to be face down, not moving stuff.(if we bought the boat I would be face down on my boat and not thinking of moving from a flood) See where this is going.
No need to move she says, I give in OK. The streets are dry, well she left 9 hours later with our new baby when the flood
water was 3 ft deep in the streets the next day, I stayed and moved small stuff, anyway we
lost EVERYTHING in the flood, When I left it was up to my waist in our house and 7 ft deep in the streets. And that was before it got bad.
Good thing it was all new or I would have been mad about not
buying the boat or having everything moved a week earlier. That is two pieces of bad
advice.
So now we are in the jungle in
Thailand for 3 months, In the house I have killed, 5 inch long scorpions, A centipede 8 inches long with two big hooked teeth and a freaking tarantula.
Life is good, I will eventually get a boat and the name will be high and dry.
