Re: SAILING with CANCER
Very sad to hear your news but equally moved to hear your decision as to how you intend to live your tomorrows. I hope they are filled with so many new and wondrous experiences that the cancer itself decides to take a holiday.
Our thoughts are with you.
Best wishes
Alan

Re: SAILING with CANCER
There is nothing of significance I can add to the wishes of those who have posted above me, they are well said, spoken from the heart and I agree with them 100%. Fair winds and following seas on your trip.

Re: SAILING with CANCER
John you've been delt a tough hand. In that situation there's two options. Fold or bluff your * # * off and hopefully you win big. Im prayin for the later for you and melanie. It's not until you've been delt that hand that you know how you'll react. We all hope hope we'd react like you but faced with it your continuing your dream and that's enough to make the toughest guy misty eyed. Good luck and stay strong.

Do what you gotta do, man.
You have a wonderful partner in life, which many don't have.
And your Karma is good.
The guys in the lounge at the Snakes are asking about you.

Hey I2F; Good on you
I've always told my boys that everyone gets knocked down. It's what we do then that defines us.
You're an inspiration.
Fair winds!

Re: SAILING with CANCER
Hi John and Mel:
I got cancer lite. Just a surgery and no chemo. It really made me change the way I was living. I had to re-prioritize my life. Well I think that I have a lot to learn from you. You are fulfilling your promises and taking care of those you love. It is a beautiful thing. I am going to make to meet up with you two in the Bay Area, share some food, share some drink and swap some lies.

Re: SAILING with CANCER
All my best wishes go out to you and yours.
Being a cancer survivor, I know what you're dealing with.11 years ago, I was told to go home and write my obituary.
But you're right, it's just life. One has to go on, and do what's important in their own life.
I sincerely hope you make it to Hawaii, and back to California. The important thing though is to live your life like today is the last day. Savor life, and leave a clean wake.

FRED!!!!!!!!,
You're back on the water. That's great news, and I see you bought a beauty too! Great to hear from you
Blue stocking I will drop by the snakes, and say hi. I have been thinking about that little roadster for some time now. I stayed with a friend of 51 years while in treatment. He drives a 67 Tiget mkII. I use to drive a 66. I was thinking when I have sell Imagine I would drive me one of the two like a bat out of hell. That's me at 20 with the Tiger, and I am that skinny again ......... i2f

Re: SAILING with CANCER
Hey, John. We'll be in Kailua until July 9th. Hope you have a fast, safe passage so I can get to see you and Mel in Kaneohe Bay. Beer's on me, man.
