We don't mind folks giving us advice that can't be true. Some folks like to sound authoritative and we just grab a grain of salt and move on.

What does bug us, just a bit, is when someone tells us something that's true but that we obviously already know. New skippers seem to be guilty of this at times. They seem to be eager to share their new found skills with us seasoned live-aboards. No real harm and, for the most part, just a minor waste of time.

People often behave like, well, people. Keeps things lively.
