The fact I'm just in the researching/planning stages right now!
I'm jealous of you all... now to see if I feel that way if i ever get to make the jump

Re: Name One Thing You Love and One Thing You Hate About Cruising
I love the way it fits my lifestyle and brings together all the skills I have been developing over the last three decades and more playing in the ocean. It is also nice to meet others who enjoy the same.
As far as hates go, this very minute I would have to say electrical problems; my boat eats alternators! Just when I was thinking of replacing my house battery, which is half dead due undercharging via a bung alternator, I realised the replacement alternator isn’t working either. I hit the thing with the back of a wrench and it sparked into action, so my guess is that the brushes are on their way out.
I am also suffering dose of chemical poisoning, but what else should I expect after getting covered in epoxy? Compared to the alternator, at least I was expecting the general nausea and rotten headache.
