Re: Dear Santa...

I would settle for a plexiglass hatch replacement on the smallest hatch on the boat (just the glass)

Would it be too much to ask for a coppercoat bottom job?

Re: Dear Santa...

Cute thread. If I'm being honest, I can't think of anything that I really want except for maybe the paint job that I started months ago to be finally done. I got the non-skid down on the side decks just a few minutes ago and I'm feeling optimistic that there's an end in sight. My life is good in spite of this continuing pandemic and I'm looking forward to a wonderful new year. So maybe that's it....I wish for everyone to have what they need to feel truly happy and fulfilled. Is that too dorky to ask for? Happy Holidays to all! Click image for larger version

Re: Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is for this pandemic to end and for everyone to be able to travel wherever they want to...

However...

If you aren't too busy, and you're looking for a project, I'd like for someone to have repaired, upgraded, renovated, and fitted out a Pacific Seacraft 32 pilothouse for a circumnavigation in Arctic waters, only to fall in love with an Italian princess, who loves him just as much! And whose fleet of Amels, Sundeers, and Oysters, located in the most desirable ports around the globe, obviate the need for him to hold onto his humble 32-footer... So, before he heads off to the Italian riviera, he has to unload the Pacific Seacraft, Santa, and he just so happens to be in the Boston area. And, since she's an heiress and he's also, by the way, really well-off, he's just trying to get rid of the thing... and the slip she comes with. For somewhere around $50,000. And, Santa, I want them to live happily ever after.

I'll take care of the cash for the boat Santa, if you can make the rest of the scenario happen.

Can you work that?

No?

Then I'll settle for an end to the pandemic so that everyone can travel wherever they like.

Love ya, mean it,

dmf

Re: Dear Santa...

Dear Santa, I would like you to send one of your elves up the stick to free the furler swivel, so I can get the jib down and send it to the sailmaker so he can repair the leach that I stupidly tore while tacking in WAY too much wind with it all the way out.

Re: Dear Santa...

When I was 16 I got up really early to see if Santa had brought me a car. He hadn't. I'm going to get up really early again to see if I might find this upgrade under the tree.....
Anyone out there with one of these? Please tell me they are slow and sail horribly.
