No it's not on poo tube!
The poo streaks ended up in the bilges where with the help of many gallons of sea water (via salt water inlet for engine) they were pumped over the side by the bilge pumps.
The auto pilot was called various names that I can not use for fear of being banned from this wonderful forum forever and kicked down below (literaly) after being ripped from it's mounting in a heat of the moment temper.
It now works perfectly and has even stopped bleeping at me every few minutes.

So all's well that ends well I suppose.

The auto pilot was cursed severely, can't use the words on the forum or I'll be banned forever, then it was kicked down below after a good beating in the cockpit and has worked faultlesly ever since.
Poo left below went down the bilges and was aided out by gallons of water via the salt water inlet for the engine and the bilge pumps then lots of nice smelly stuff that my wife had left on board (channel no 5 or something) had to use the whole bottle!
Don't worry ladies bought a new bottle so she will never know unless she reads this!
Would have dumped a lttle pumped a little but we have a vaccum head. maybe I should change it.
I'll keep you posted on any other calamities that occur, if there are any, which as you all know happen all too frequently when cruising.
