Check out the RoboKiller app. I started using it a few days ago. It comes with automated "dialogs" that are being played at the scammer. Waste their time without wasting yours.

Everybody gets those calls. I get some for females from "friends".
Sorry not in business anymore.
Did get a call about 'contraband', told them to go ahead and jail me.
Warranties on a vehicle I don't have.
Solar, thanx but already have it.
And on and on ...
so why bother posting? just like why did I respond I guess.

With an Iphone, my solution is pretty simple. If you are not in my contact list the call is ignored. There are days there may be 6-10 robo type calls ignored. These people can fake any number they want. I don't know anyone in Stevens Point, WI, Albuquerque, or Rippon, WI.

I had one last week from the water co saying I had 30 mins to respond or they were turning off the service. Yeh, right. That one had left a message, most times there is nothing.

HAHAHA I get lots of those calls. Just the other day I got the drugs intercepted in the mail scam. I get a lot of the car extended warranty calls, or did. I think I got so many of them because I was entertaining them with my blue language and shouting and speculating on the virtue of the caller's mother. When I started hanging up those calls stopped. I haven't even owned a personal vehicle in my name in over two years because Mrs. Monster owns two. Funny, but she doesn't get those calls. Maybe because one is a 22 year old pickup truck and the other is a 2004 Hyundai on its last legs. Lets see... I have got some of the IRS calls, and twice a year I get one from a human, from a supposed police benevolent organization soliciting funds for vests for cops. It's always the same voice and I recognize him as soon as he starts his shpiel. Pretty much all municipal police departments issue vests. They don't need donations. The water company cutoff scam I haven't got yet. Oh, social security. There is some illegal activity on my account. LOL!

As for the illegal drugs in the mail, if it were for real they would do a controlled delivery and then bust you.

I get a lot more robocalls that I have never listened too, because the machine doesn't start talking right when I pick up. If I pick up and don't hear anything int he first three seconds or so, I hang up. And since my phone is for my convenience and nobody else, half the time when it rings I don't bother to answer at all. People who know me know this, and come see me when they have something to tell me. I haven't checked my voice mail in over 10 years and will never check it in the future, either. Must be about 10k messages there. Because I live on the hard now, some of my marina neighbors as well as the harbormaster are on a special ring tone. If my boat is sinking I want to know about it.

RIght now I have my phone ringer turned on, waiting for a call from the garage where we left the truck for repairs. The drivers side electric window doesn't work and neither does the air conditioner. Funny how both of those items ALWAYS fail at the same time. Summer is coming, and driving an oven in South Louisiana ain't no fun. Anyway so this morning I will be picking up the phone no matter what and scammers are going to get a nice blast of profanity, and their mothers will be fair game for discussion.
