It all depended on where the feeder bands hit.
Hardly had any
wind in N. Bradenton, but SOUTH of me, in Venice, they had a lot of
wind.
In Gulfport, just across the mouth of Tampa Bay from me, they had a small tornado that did a bit of damage in the downtown areaa, bringing down some big trees which in turn damaged buildings.
In Gulfport, the opinion was that Andrea was worse than Debbie, and I guess it was -- there -- since Debbie didn't pull down any trees. But she created flooding and storm tides for three days.
I was at
work until 10 PM and then I crashed and I haven't heard what happened when she came ashore at the Big Bend area. She was supposed to have top winds of 60 mph, but those peak winds were some distance from the storm's (huge) eye. Weird storm.
