Where do I get the highest probability to see one?

BTW Have seen a (?) moonbow (a night rainbow caused by the moon - not colored but just a white arc) and thought I was dreamin', then looked up on the net and indeed such a thing exists. Sort of cool too.

I was reminded of something when I read your term "USAmericans," barnakiel:

Enjoy!

I just knew it !!! US territorial waters, USAmerican eyes only !!! The thing you guys import from Colombia hurts your vision. Here, the import is from Venezuela and VOILA - no green flashes !!!

Try using binoculars. Really makes the flash big. Also, if you're somewhat quick, you can see it sitting down on deck and then stand up and see it again.

Last time I did it, I was using the binoculars for the first sighting and then stood up without them for the second sighting. It looks the same except smaller.

In point of fact, some researchers have "pinned" the phenomenon on the horizon by flying a small jet toward the setting sun and ascending at just the right rate to prolong the experience.
