I was watching this on our evening news about an hr ago. Wow!!. What the report did not state was why the other 3 ships were also in peril. I do realise it is big sea's and a weather bouy has measured a wave at 17m out there, but why are ships this size having such trouble. They are really really big ships.
Oh boy, what a mess that thing is going to make if she breaks up.

They are in trouble because they are empty. Saw some TV footage, and one of the ships was trying to move clear of the beach but it's prop kept coming out of the water in the waves. I don't know how it got on, there hasn't been any more news about it here.

It feels a little stupid but...

We've just had that wild weather here in Sydney.

Warnings not to make unnecessary trips.

So I just checked the boat, the mooring lines, locked it up and came home.

Feels a little stupid to be warm, dry and secure when storms rage - but nice.
