Yes, I will be going and looking forward to checking out the Lagoons and Leopards. Also it's always nice to dream and walk through the Riviera 57 Flybridge.

Cheers,

Ed

Re: Sydney boat show today

I was there on Tuesday looking around in darling harbour etc ( got in early as looking to buy a racing mono ) , and found what I can see as a pretty bland boat show, may be because have been to a few others in the world and just didn't see any thing that would excite me but those who go I hope you enjoy . So plane ticket booked for the Southampton boat show

Re: Sydney boat show today

Hi beneteau-500,

There are definitely some more exciting boat shows abroad and I'm really looking forward to go to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida boat show. The Sydney boat show is just easy as I work in the city and I'm always amazed how may domestic boat builders there are in Australia.

If you are going to buy a boat from aboard send me a private message as I work for OzForex, so I can secure you a much better exchange rate on the transfer.

Cheers,

Ed Wiley

There are some beautiful open 60 yachts out there and definitely understand the need to search around the world for your pride and joy.

I just had a look at some videos on Youtube and it would be way out of my sailing ability to own one, as sailing on the Sydney harbour is hard enough for me. I'm more of a cruiser guy when it comes to sailing but do love thrill of going fast every now and then.

Good luck on your hunt!

Cheers,

Ed

Re: Sydney boat show today

Hi Australians friends ; I bounce on posts about Australian sailboat builders; I wondered what are the Australian ship builders well known for producing (afordable ,) sailboats suitable for water sailing">blue water sailing ; much like the Halberg Rassy, the Boreal or Rutlers we have in Europe (brands named just to clarify my thought). what are your thoughts on this?

I Paid for two days and only went for one of them.
I dont want to be the cynic, but kinda found it the "same same" . If I was about to buy a new frog boat, it would have been more worth while.
