Sailboat Wreckage Washes Ashore in FL

Reports show the wreckage of a boat washed up on the shore of a New Smyrna Beach this morning.

The remains of the boat are located north of Beachway Avenue near Surf Street. It appears to be a 45-foot-long catamaran in several large pieces.

It is unclear if a boat has been reported missing.

Officials are at the beach trying to determine what happened with the craft.

Another article has name listed as 'Cool Change' ot of Jax. Photo shows it to be a wooden Tri.
Maybe I2F of some of the folks out of Jax know the boat?

The tri came off its mooring.

I believe this is the same craft tucked into a small cove on the northside just inside the inlet. Last time I was there was about 4 years ago. There were several large older wooden boats in complete disrepair sitting there for a couple of years I know of......i2f
