The last known location, 7 days ago, is 900nm short of Ponta Delgada in The Azores which seems to be their chosen port. Of course they could have changed their plans and headed Horta or on to Madeira

I have contacted the MRCC Gris-Nez and informed of the current position which seems to be from a satellite tracking device.
They also need to watch the falling glass as the weather will deteriorate and TS Gordon starts to chase their petticoats!

Lol, storms at sea may be the least of their worries. Have you looked at the website and seen where they intend to go, and what they intend to do there? Hope they're very careful....

Worthy intentions, but they may not receive a warm welcome in some ports of call where the society is a male-oriented hierarchy.

Micah 719 and Astrid... very good words of advice! While their mission may be noble, their reception and treatment in those countries they plan to visit and share their values with may be less than friendly. Capt Phil

i hope my kids have the energy and resourcefulness to accomplish something like this in their 20's.
it never seems to amaze me how older people who have never achieved any thing in their lives other than self gratification can critisize the the younger generation who are out there doing stuff..............
Philosophy
We are young 20 year olds, with their values and ideals, give time and are struggling to complete a project that wants to put his finger on human strength, the power that each of us to live for their convictions.
A year away from it all will be to conduct a lot of reflection. The meaning of our lives, for example, the outlines and everything that follows. And even the stuff we do not often have time to think of. Above all, this year we will, through the other, better our understanding of the world in which we live on.
It is also because we are young, we have plenty of energy to give away to a world where one learns to think only of themselves, where people do not “want” not enough for our liking. Because we know that you can make a difference on our scale and by our own.
Because millions of people are in need of development and assistance, we want to be those who bring them a little or a lot. Because today we first judge people by what they have, what they buy, and what they consume…
… AND THAT’S NOT WHAT WE EXPECT!
Because if life is not made to realize our dreams we do not see interest in it.

Internet forum reality is far, far away from the space and time version we walk around in.

Well, looks like '...a year away from it all...' may not be enough, ... unless the Azore's High moves on!

Re: OVERDUE Yacht - Haiti to The Azores
David has posted on another forum that Coeur D’eau has arrived safely in The Azores. Probably just in time too with TS Gordon in the area.

Oooops, doesn't look like Azores safe anymore - Gordon forecast to badly smack the islands. I'd rather cast the lines and head (?North?).
