I recently attended a seminar in
Annapolis, given by single-hander Matt Rutherford. He has recently completed a 15,000 mile
single handed trip in his
Pearson 32 taking him to
europe into deepest
Africa and back home to
Annapolis. His new adventure proposes a singlehanded
circumnavigation of the Americas via the NW
Passage and Cape Horn. Not in a big crewed metal yacht but on his own in an
Albin Vega 27.
His plans are to leave Annapolis in June 2011.
