Date and Place?

This is "Son of a Sailor" just picking up on this thread. Looking back on the 60 or so posts, don't see a definitive date and place. Did I miss it? Look forward to seeing some of the boaters again...

opsailor,

It will be good to see you again. The date is the 22nd of Nov at the same spot in Green Cove. I figure we will eat around 4-5 pm. A side dish to compliment beef briskets will be appreciated. We have a green salad, mac & cheese, and chili so far. We don't have a show of positive attendants, but so far about 16- 20.....i2f

Hmmm... While I have endless regard for the greater state of Texas, I do believe it is geographically and politically closer to Florida than Minnesota

Looking forward to a good time, food and great company! See you at the cookout!

Not even close, on both counts.
Minneapolis to Jacksonville is about 1,500 miles, whereas it’s only about 1,000 miles from San Antonio.

A bump to the top asking for a raising of hands. For who will attend, and what dish they will bring. This way I will know how many briskets to thaw......i2f

Please count Barb and I in. We may -potentially- have a couple more sailors joining us; I'll let you know asap if it materializes.

If ok with you, we'll bring a veggie and dip type of thing. It's the easiest for a traveling kind of person

What time do you hope to start at your end? Our schedule is very flexible; we can arrive a bit early to help with things.

I planning on eating about 4-5. I am working on the boat, so anytime after 2 is good. Don't forget there's a tv if anybody is interested in watching games, and the veggie dip is good. We have a green salad, chili, Mac & cheese dishes already......i2f
