Just imagine how many drugs are smuggled into the US on private boats. There are so many little cubby holes on boats. But the people you deal with on both ends of a trip would be more dangerous.

The US coast line is guarded pretty good but not well enough. Only one time I was approached in the Puget sound by HLS coming in from sea. The Admiralty inlet is a busy channel. I’d think they would be all over the place.

Back I guess in the 70’s and 80’s in the SE US, many a crop duster made a good living in the off season drug smuggling, think about it, who is better at flying under Radar than a crop duster?
