Forbes reports Russian billionaire in Comanche Cove Marina

Germany has officially confiscated the world's largest superyacht, owned by Russian oligarch, Alisher Usmanov*, as part of sanctions against Moscow, following the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
“Dilbar” measures some 511 feet, and 15,917 tons, which shipbuilder Lurssen says makes it the largest motor yacht in the world, by gross tonnage. It has two helipads, and one of the biggest indoor pools ever installed on a yacht, according to the U.S. Treasury Department, which puts its estimated worth between $600 and $735 million.
Since last October the boat has been docked for repairs in a Hamburg shipyard.
Usmanov, 68, was ranked sixth in the Sunday Times' list of the richest people in the UK, in 2021.

* Evidently, the owner of the M/S “Dilbar” is Gulbakhor Ismailova, the sister of Alisher Usmanov.

Interesting info -- I must confess, I believe I made a call out to BoatUS when I came into that marina years ago and I have a much smaller draft...I feel a little bit funny now seeing that in there...haha


The article shows a pict of the vessel but they (crew?) hid the name...I don't think that's the name anymore....I think it's this vessel that appears to be in Key West...
