Don't look for help from passing cargo ships

In the future there maybe no one aboard.

Drone cargo ships looking to set sail with armchair captains (Wired UK)

There will be Less and less work for able bodied seamen.

Damn, I once got a 20,000 ton ship to slow down and divert to drop us coffee in the Coral Sea once. They knew the true nature of maritime distress but I guess if no humans aboard then no need for coffee so no help.
