Re: Do we need to be preparing for Arctic cruising strategies because of Global Cooli
I don't insist that co2 is the only thing actually I try to keep an eye on what I feel would be one of the big game changers. volcanic activity.
We are one good caldera away from a very cold summer.
The biggest problem as I see it in america is the addition of ethanol to gasoline. While reducing other poluttants it increases the co2 content of exhause gasses on vehicles while at the same time adversely affecting the fuel economy and performance of said fuels. M2CW .

Climate scientists recognize the role of volcanic activity in climate change. Volcanoes played a major role in the LIA.
Volcanoes May Have Sparked Little Ice Age | Climate Change & Cooling | Volcanoes & Sea Ice
I do not worry about volcanoes, asteroids, El Ninos, AMO, PDO, Milankovitch cycles, etc. because I cannot have any influence over them. I can reduce my carbon footprint. I also reduce, reuse and recycle my waste.

BTW - for those concerned about global cooling, I am selling glacier insurance to compensate for damage to your homes, vehicles and vessels from advancing glaciers.
For those end-timers among you, I will also provide care for those pets left behind after the rapture. Payment in advance please.

If you don't believe the climate is warming a lot, you don't believe thermometers really work. They do keep track of temperature averages world-wide you know. Check it out sometime.

For the record I found not listen to Limbaugh or wing nuts like Beck. Nor am I an end time believer. Just a weather agnostic.

Well we all know there is weather everday. I'm just agnostic about all the politics. And yes I do believe it's political and not science.

Unfortunately for getting at the truth, it's science infused with politics.

So there's hope for more wisdom, depending on whether I start agreeing with you? How about we allow our views to adapt to the evolving science? That sounds wiser to me.
